The Wave

The Wave

This is a favourite location of mine along the famous Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland, near Ballintoy Harbour. When conditions are right, dramatic waves are created by the force of the sea that is pushed back by the cliff clashing violently with the onrushing tide. The challenge was to time this with sunrise: an explosion of light with the explosion of water.
