Hello! I’m Gilbert Lennox and I am a landscape photographer from Northern Ireland.

Photography is not all that I do. In fact it has really only been a significant factor in the past 10 years of my total (so far!) of 67. I’m a former school teacher and a retired leader of a Christian church in the suburbs of Belfast and I still love to teach the Bible and mentor younger leaders.

I am also a husband, a father and now a grandfather eight times over, with all the fun (and exhaustion) that brings.

And I love photography, especially seeking to create images that capture some of the beauty of the creation close to home. There is so much that is broken and dark in our world. Photographing the landscape is a way of seeing beyond the dark, holding onto moments of transforming light and, I’ve discovered, bringing joy, comfort and hope.
